Talking to someone you trust

A teacher, a friend, a family member, a counsellor. Starting with one sentence — "I've not been okay lately" — is enough.

If a friend reaches out to you

Listen without fixing. Don't promise secrecy if they are in danger. Help them contact a helpline or a trusted adult.

Small things that help

Sleep, food, sunlight, movement, and time away from the screen. They aren't a cure, but they make hard days a little easier.
